Course Description:
Pre-Basic Vedic Mathematics is a foundation course that introduces the students to the world of Vedic Mathematics. This course covers the basic concepts of Vedic Mathematics and helps the students develop a strong foundation in mental mathematics. Students will learn to perform mathematical operations with ease and speed using Vedic Mathematical techniques.

Brief history of Vedic Mathematics

Session 2 & 3:
Number System
Place value system
Conversion of numbers from one base to another
Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in different bases
Session 4-8:
Basic Operations using Nikhilam Method
Addition and subtraction using Nikhilam Method
Multiplication using Nikhilam Method
Division using Nikhilam Method
Session 9-10:
Basic Operations using Ekadhikena Method
Addition and subtraction using Ekadhikena Method
Multiplication using Ekadhikena Method
Session 11-12:
Basic Operations using Urdhva-Tiryagbhyam Method
Multiplication using Urdhva-Tiryagbhyam Method
Division using Urdhva-Tiryagbhyam Method
Session 13:
Basic Operations using Anurupyena Method
Multiplication using Anurupyena Method
Session 14:
Checking for Divisibility
Divisibility by 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12
Simple and easy methods for checking divisibility
Square and Square Roots
Squares of numbers ending in 5
Squares of numbers near 50, 100, 200, etc.
Finding square roots of perfect squares
Session 15:
Cube and Cube Roots
Cubes of numbers ending in 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9
Finding cube roots of perfect cubes
Session 16: Application of Vedic Mathematics
Application of Vedic Mathematics in daily life
Solving complex problems using Vedic Mathematical techniques
Course Duration: 16 Sessions (1 hour per session)
